2025 OFFICIAL SELECTION

Writer and director Ivan Marinović’s absurd comedy follows Dragana, mid-thirties, a physiotherapist who decides to back out of her wedding two days before the expensive ceremony. This decision proves unacceptable for the prospective groom’s father, Les. Marinović’s dark satire pokes at Balkan notions of love and marriage while keeping the wild pace of frantic farce, an homage to Yugoslav cinema of the 1970s and 1980s.
